Connect your AI agent

Use Hatchery3D through MCP to make characters and props, check progress, and download .glb files. You need a Studio plan. Free and Pro do not include MCP tools. Get Studio.

Connect

  1. Open the MCP server settings in your AI app.
  2. Add a server named Hatchery3D with this URL:https://mcp.hatchery3d.com/mcpSelect Streamable HTTP and OAuth if the app asks.
  3. Connect and sign in with your Hatchery3D Studio account.
  4. Select Allow on the consent page.

Codex

With the Codex CLI installed, run:

codex mcp add hatchery3d --url https://mcp.hatchery3d.com/mcp

Complete the browser sign-in. If sign-in does not start, run codex mcp login hatchery3d. Restart Codex to load the tools in a new chat.

Claude Code

With Claude Code installed, run:

claude mcp add --transport http hatchery3d https://mcp.hatchery3d.com/mcp

Open Claude Code. Run /mcp, select Hatchery3D, and sign in.

Check the connection

Ask your agent:

Use Hatchery3D to show my plan and credit balance.

This check uses no credits. Each new character costs 100 credits. Each new prop costs 50 credits. Your agent uses your account balance.

To make an asset, ask: “Make a low-poly wooden barrel in Hatchery3D, then download its .glb file.”

If a tool asks you to upgrade, check that you connected your Studio account. If tools are missing, restart your AI app. For help, contact support@hatchery3d.com.
